Shuckin' Shack CEO Presents at Franchise Growth Conference

While the very first Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar opened in Carolina Beach 11 years ago, our franchise expansion history is much shorter.  When franchising began in 2014, our franchise awards process was both conservative and concentric at the same time. As we pass the halfway point of 2018, we have a dozen restaurants operating in the Southeast with another seven on track to open within the next six months.  Some in our industry find it surprising that in the four years since we began franchising, we have turned down more applicants than we've awarded franchises, but we expect that trend to continue going forward in the years to come.

Despite a strategy not to grow too quickly, in May of 2018 Shuckin' Shack Franchising CEO, Jonathan Weathington, was asked to speak before the Franchise Finance & Growth Conference sponsored by the Franchise Times publication. During his 17 minute presentation (video below) Jonathan concisely explained the History of "The Shack", our impressive Unit Level Economics, our ever-expanding Franchisee Support Systems and some genuine insight on who WE consider to be an ideal franchisee for a Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar.  For those seriously considering our coastal restaurant franchise opportunity, we highly recommend viewing this informative video!

For 2019 we are actively seeking a multi-unit franchise development group or family to bring the Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar and sports pub to Houston and surrounding cities. If you have an interest and a financial ability to partner with our successful fresh seafood restaurant concept, please provide basic contact details using this Houston, TX market page today!
